Clickpass, disqus and openid - wtf?

So I'm investigating disqus and Intense Debate... Okay cool, disqus supports openid... I'll just sign in with my openid through Clickpass... WTF? Why does disqus want a username and password? I thought that was the whole friggin point of openid - to avoid another friggin username and password.

Hi there,

Daniel from Disqus here. If you haven't signed up to Clickpass before, it will ask you to set up your account. You will be able to use that to sign onto any other site using Clickpass, including Disqus.

If you'd rather use straight OpenID, you can do that by clicking on the arrow next to the button.
